Data Science for Motion and Time Analysis time analysis has been a popular tool in operations research analyzing work performance manufacturing service operations. The current practice motion involves many labor-intensive steps such as stop-watching, videotaping, manual data analysis. It is too inefficient to be practiced regularly continuous improvement. Whereas modern sensing devices have automated eased measurements, the analytics transforming new into knowledge are largely underdeveloped. Unsolved technical questions include: How can information extracted from sensor data? motions rates statistically modeled compared? correlated rates? This paper develops solutions novel science framework demonstrated with industrial use cases smart factory.
